JerrieLea Hopf is currently the Clerk of the YCPC Session. She plans to use the Clerk's Corner Newsletter to keep our congregation up to date on the matters that Session is dealing with. Generally her posts will follow monthly Session meetings, with abbreviated reports in the summer months.
As most of you know, I am the Clerk of Session – but do you know what that is? The Clerk acts as the recorder of all of the actions of the Session. They may or may not be a sitting Elder. This way there is a written record of all the decision made at the church, back to the beginning. It is also their responsibility to keep track of the membership of the congregations. The Stated Meeting of the Session of the Yarnell Community Presbyterian Church met in the Ancillary Room on Monday, May 22, 2017, at 6 pm. The opening prayer was offered by Joanne Burkhardt after Word, Share, Prayer time on John 20:21.
